Horsham West PS - 5OK Learn the way!!

The reflections of the year so far are great for me. I have learnt how to use the 16 habits of mind, more about Australia’s history and origins, more about maths, and I have also improved on my spelling to become, (only at some points ) better than the teacher at spelling! In a few years I am looking forward to a lot harder words in college. I am looking forward next term to testing my knowledge. Next term I hope to improve on my writing and getting larger than normal division.

 So far this year has been good for me I have learnt many new things like bodmas. Next term I hope to seek new goals like my journal writing and spelling . I am also looking forwad to the holidays when I go to Melbourne (Werribe) I can’t wait.

It is the last day of term 2 and I am so happy.  This term I have learnt to do improper and proper fractions, use things on the computer like pivot, monkey jam and a lot of other stuff. I’ve also enjoyed doing the winter sports where we played other schools in soccer, tee ball, mini volleyball and footy. This year in S.O.S.E we learnt about the habits of mind and early Australians and Australian explores like Matthew Flinders.

Today is the last day of term 2 and I’m pleased that the long term is over. I can’t believe that we are doing work, I mean on the last day of a term it is supposed to be fun. This year we have done a lot of work on Maths and English and all the other important subjects such as spelling and the early Australian explorers. We also did some winter sports such as soccer, football, netball, volleyball and tee-ball. I can’t wait till we come  backto school next term……… oh wait yes i can!

Today  is the last day of the term 2 and this team i have learnt about habits of the mind. The ones that i think i use is persisting, because i normally stick to it. I have enjoyed this term because i have met new friends and learnt new things and learnt to spell better. I’m looking foward to next term.

This year has been a good year so far for me. I have learnt many things this year like how to use the method BODMAS. Right now it is the last day of this term and i think i have big goals to achieve next term like to get my hand writing neater. This year I think I have controlled my behavior well. This year I have also learnt about the 16 habits of  the mind. I hope I can continue my behavior next year.

This term i have made an improvement on Managing Impulsivity and i have leant lots of habits of the mind and i have made lots of friends.  I have learnt about lots of things on Austrailia and about explorers.  We also learnt some maths that was interesting and most times fun.   On the 1st week of term two we will be going to our Dad’s house and might be going to golf.  In the secound week we might be going to Adelaide to see my pregnant Auntie.

During term two i learnt about the habits of the mind and my maths and my English and my times tables.  The techer gave me a times tables sheet that is helping me do them.  On the hoildays i am going to Tahnee’s house and she might come to my house and we wil go to Kat’s house and we will go out to Karkhana and that is about all.

During term 2 we played sport and all the sports played other schools.  We learnt about the habits of mind and we had to do a poster on the habits of mind we use and we had to write four. The ones I use are Managing Impulsivity, Persistance and Striving for accuracy and Finding humor.  Every day we do mental maths after snack.  My favourite subject is English and I don’t really like Maths and i am not that good at spelling and I sit next to my friends.  During the school holidays i am going to a friends party and I get to go to the pool with a friend and I am going to have a friend sleepover.  IT WILL BE FUN!!!  Also this term i have liked doing recorder and playing games with my teacher and class. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.
